Book: Images of America
$20
This book is packed with information about Marian Cruger Coffin (1876-1957), one of the first American women to work as a professional landscape architect. Though she may not be a household name, with designs at some of America's foremost horticultural institutions, she should be. Her work can be seen at Winterthur, Mt. Cuba Center, University of Delaware, and more. Gibraltar is one of her most impressive works, and the most intact of her remaining designs.
