Photography FAQs

We offer two options:

• One-Time Photography Session: $150 for one professional photography session of up to 2 hours. Click here for more information
• Annual Photography Membership: $300 and includes unlimited pre-scheduled photography sessions for one year from the date of purchase (one session per day, up to 2 hours each).  Click here for more information

During prom season, we welcome students with a check-in table, music, and fun photo props. The fee is $20 per student, and you may reserve in advance or simply pay when you arrive. Family and friends accompanying prom attendees are always welcome free of charge.

Yes. All professional photography sessions must be reserved in advance through our online calendar.

Yes. Reservations are non-refundable but may be rescheduled within 12 months of the original reservation date.

No. You're welcome to use any open area of the gardens, but individual locations cannot be reserved exclusively.

No. The gardens remain open to the public during operating hours, and other visitors or photographers may be present. There are multiple locations and a lot space to spread out and share the garden. 

There are limited parking spots in the Courtyard, and overflow parking is available on Greenhill Avenue. Please be aware of resident driveways and posted parking signs. 

Photography is welcome throughout the Marian Coffin Gardens, including the Main Flower Garden, Venus Fountain, Bald Cypress Allee, Marble Staircase, Evergreen Terrace, Reflecting Pool, and many other scenic locations. Individual garden locations cannot be reserved.

Small handheld props are welcome. Glitter, confetti, flower petals, smoke bombs, balloons with confetti, and similar items that leave residue or require cleanup are not permitted.

To help preserve this historic garden for everyone to enjoy, please:

• Stay on paths and lawns.
• Do not step in garden beds or climb on walls, statues, fountains, or other historic features. 
• Do not pick flowers or damage plants. 
• Glitter, confetti, flower petals, smoke bombs, and other items that leave debris are not permitted. 
• Please be courteous to other visitors and photographers who may also be enjoying the gardens.

Yes, a portable restroom is available past the garages. 

If severe weather affects your session, you may reschedule for another available date within 12 months of your original reservation.
